When Simon Brooks entered our offices with a problem, we didn’t give him any needle. Being an acupuncturist he already had quite a few!
Our client required something to make him stand out, something which would convince people that, sometimes, sticking needles into your arm is a good thing. Obviously the only thing for it was an uncoated stock, giving an earthy, natural feel – matt laminate isn’t quite trustworthy enough in a situation such as this one. We didn’t stop there however; we decided to go for a ‘tent’ shaped leaflet which was unorthodox and peculiar ensuring that Simon's Leaflets stood up and stood out.
The basic brief to the design was fine, but using our years of expertise we tinkered with it to give it a more professional image. For a task such as acupuncture you need to give off the impression you know what you’re doing! Finally, to further get this idea across we went for a 400gsm thick stock, ensuring a high quality appearance and feel were guaranteed. Simon has since taken his work outside of the country and set up a practice in Wales.
